Childrens Books My Kids Ask For (again and again)

I didn’t own a bookshelf before I had kids.  Now I own 6 of them brimming with kids books.  Kids books line the walls and carpet the floors.  I go to book fairs with a suitcase-on-wheels.

A good kids book is one that the kids choose.   Here is a list of books that my kids keep coming back to.

I may have forgot one or two, and there are some notable absences because this list only includes stories my kids really liked.

A good book: Animalia

Animalia is a well known classic that our family instantly fell in love with.

The author and illustrator Graheme Base takes you through each letter of the alphabet and challenges you to find all the objects, animals and characters of the same letter throughout. The pictures are so detailed, you could spend hours finding the “hidden beasts and birds”.

Each time you read it, you discover new things, keeping it fresh for easily distractible young minds.
