They only have one function &#8211; to undo the clips that hold the stereo to the chassy.<\/p>\n<p>They will need to be long enough to be inserted about 1 inch into the head unit.<\/p>\n<p>Keep pushing until you feel a click.  That means the clips have been undone, and you are ready to start sliding the unit out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_A-E1sqTt3lQ\/TTv5eexXpZI\/AAAAAAAAAG0\/lPToTsOB3SM\/s1600\/IMG_1986.JPG\"><img style=\"margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px; float: left; clear: both;\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_A-E1sqTt3lQ\/TTv5eexXpZI\/AAAAAAAAAG0\/lPToTsOB3SM\/s320\/IMG_1986.JPG\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3:  Remove the unit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can decide for yourself how gentle you would like to be when sliding out your head unit.
